There are several cloud storage applications available for Windows, Linux and Smartphones that you should consider for use on your Android based smartphones.  These applications create shared drives or folders on your device.  Data placed in these folders are automatically syncronized with the cloud, and appear on your other devices.  Thes applications provide a way to backup your data, as well as to easily tranfer data from your laptop or desktop to and from your smartphone.
